The faces and stories behind Lead Worm

Our Story

Lead Worm

Lead Worm formed in 2015 when three musicians with diverse backgrounds but a shared vision came together in Adelaide, Australia. What started as casual jam sessions quickly evolved into something more significant as the band discovered their unique sound—a blend of raw alternative rock with elements of post-punk and electronic influences.

The brainchild of acclaimed producer, Kirst Killgrey, Lead Worm have evolved over the past 10 years into something bigger than themselves and continue to push the boudaries of their creative powers.

After releasing their debut self titled album in 2015, the band quickly gained attention in the underground rock scene. Their distinctive ink blot logo, has become an iconic symbol of their music's blend of beauty and darkness.
